THE FARMHOLIDAY

Today, Villa del Monte is a vast complex in the hills between San Gimignano and Certaldo, in an enchanting position: the huge Italian-style garden, on two levels divided by a travertine balustrade, includes a lemon-house and a colonnaded pergola and is enclosed by 18th-century walls with a beautiful wrought-iron gate. The complex of buildings is composed of the Villa and the outbuildings pertinent to the farm.

The Villa has been transformed into a residence with multi-bed apartments, each independent of the others, with all the modern comforts and understated decoration, complete with kitchen and all the other service facilities our guests may require for spending a quiet vacation immersed in culture and an incomparable landscape.
The main entrance, approached up a double ramp, overlooks the garden. Alongside the Villa and these appurtenances are the private buildings of the farm, accessible through a barrel-vaulted passage that leads to a rectangular courtyard.

Villa del Monte can be a wonderful location for ceremonies as wedding, baptism, etc., among the peaceful Tuscany hills.
